I have been using it as the centrepiece for my Home Theatre System for the last 6 years. It has never skipped a beat and works perfectly. 3 years ago I had it professionally serviced by a Sony repair centre and was still perfect then so will last for many more years. This receiver has spent its life inside a closed cabinet and has not been touched by anybody but me, no scratches marks or any kind of visible wear on the unit at all.
