Vintage Wharfedale Melton 2 speakers *

Nice examples of these 70s speakers. In good condition for their age. A few small marks and dings, but not obvious. Teak veneered cabinets with a black grille cloth. The grilles are also in decent condition. Both badges in place. One grille is broken, but this is not noticeable when fitted as there are six pegs. A few of the pegs are a little soft, but work fine holding each grille securely. They also look quite cool, in an industrial way, without grilles. Two-pin DIN or bare wire/spade conections. 6 ohm impedance and 30W power handling. All drivers in good working order; 12 inch bass unit and 2 inch mid/high purple tweeter. Frequency response is around 45Hz to 17kHz. Approximately 54 × 37 × 26 cm in size. Described as large bookshelf, but best on stands. They have a nice warm, but detailed sound, typical of Wharfedale.
